MacBook Pro 15" 2.2Ghz Quad Core i7

So this beauty of a machine landed today...

As you can see, straight away it got an OSX Lion 10.7 upgrade, and after a small(ish) firmware upgrade (for the i7 support for Lion) it was off, the 1333 mhz FSB was cooking into action like a duck to water. Obviously a little benchmark was in order, and after opening every off the shelf OSX app I could, here were the results...

CPU Usage
User: 1.82%

System: 3.83%
Idle: 94.35% :)

Memory usage wasn't doing too much either with a total of 2.5Gb of the 4Gb used. Overall this beast is going to handle virtually any memory intensive graphics or music application you can throw on it. Desktop power on your lap.
